EMDR works by directing eye movements while imagining distressing scenarios and shifting your attention toward more positive thoughts, causing anxiety to dissipate. It has a set of standardized protocols that incorporates elements from many different treatment approaches with the use of bilateral stimulation using eye movements, tones and/or tapping.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a mainstay of traditional Chinese medicine, which has been practiced for thousands of years. Acupuncture is a technique in which practitioners stimulate specific points on the body—most often by inserting thin needles through the skin. Acupuncture rarely causes more than mild side effects, it is a potential alternative to pain medications or steroid treatments.

Massage

Reiki

The word Reiki comprises the two Japanese characters, rei, meaning universal spirit, and ki, meaning vital life force or energy. A hands-on healing therapy, Reiki is a therapeutic approach in which the practitioner facilitates the delivery of universal energy to an individual to enhance vitality and promote the body's innate ability to heal. The intention of the Reiki practitioner is to act as a conduit for the delivery of universal energy and thereby replenish and restore energy flow and balance.

The the idea that we all have an unseen “life force energy” flowing through our bodies. Reiki can help reduce stress and promote healing by encouraging a healthy flow of energy.

Cupping

Cupping is the term applied to a technique that uses small glass cups or bamboo jars as suction devices that are placed on the skin to disperse and break up stagnation and congestion by drawing congested blood, energy or other humors to the surface.

Ear Seeds

Ear seeds are based on the same general principles as acupuncture. In traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), your health depends on the flow of qi (energy) in your body. Ear seeds are placed on certain points, usually along meridian lines, to help clear up any qi blockages. In TCM, resolving these blockages may help with a variety of health conditions.

To date, EMDR therapy has helped millions of people of all ages relieve many types of psychological stress.

EMDR is an evidence-based psychotherapy. Additionally, successful outcomes are well-documented in the literature for EMDR treatment of other psychiatric disorders, mental health problems, and somatic symptoms. It is a client centered approach that allows the clinician to facilitate the mobilization of the client’s own healing mechanism which stimulates an innate information processing system in the brain.
